CommComm Mobile App app for iPhone and iPad

Communities Communication Mobile App (CommComm Mobile App) aims to create a bridge of communication between generations in local communities around Europe. Despite the existence of several social networks, there are only a few features which aim at strengthening communities by giving them full control of their interactions with citizens. This mobile app is composed of two specific features which will enable local organizations (Parishes, NGO’s, etc) or individuals to create a platform of interaction (community) where facilitators can create challenges, discussions and interactions between people. The main app feature will be the possibility of creating a community and promoting interactions with its participants. These interactions will likely be supported by facilitators to have the participation of the elderly and multiple accounts will be possible under one same e’mail. Additionally the mobile app will integrate an online version of CommComm’s Play Together Card Game with an online ranking.

Objectives:
Enhance communication between individuals in local communities.
Maintain local traditions and preserve history and stories in local communities
It will help solving the problem of digital isolation and the barrier established between young and old people in rural areas. With this app we expect to achieve a fully understandable way of communicating within and between communities.
The app will enable communities to interact internally and externally independently and will include every citizen horizontally in a fully communicative way.
